Working within our friendly Finance team, the AMA will work closely with the Finance Manager to prepare the Management Accounts. The AMA will also manage the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions along with supporting the AP Assistant and taking responsibility for their development.

If you have a great understanding of accounting and transactional processing, then this could be the role for you. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to develop your skills further and Tasty are proud to offer comprehensive study support for your next accountancy qualifications.

No two days are ever the same so this list is not finite, but you can expect to be involved in/be responsible for:

Assisting with the preparation of Management Accounts; nominal accounts analysis, fixed costs and overheads accruals/ prepayments, cost of sales and balance sheet reconciliations.

Looking after our suppliers by paying their invoices on time and swiftly dealing with any queries. We use Sage for managing our invoices, so knowledge of this system is a real bonus. You will also support colleagues with any questions or issues they may have with suppliers, and this also includes the invoicing for our sub-let properties. Regularly reviewing aged creditors and debtors reports and following up any outstanding issues.

Completing all Period End tasks and providing the leadership team with accurate and timely management information.

The development of our colleagues is important to us, and you will be working closely with the AP Assistant making sure they have everything they need to do a great job. This will involve training, task reviewing and regular feedback.

Ideally, the candidate will have a part of full qualification within ATA/ACCA/CIMA but we are happy to receive applications from those just beginning their studies.

You don’t need to be the life and soul of the party, but you will enjoy working with colleagues to achieve key goals and the ability to communicate effectively to the wider team and external partners is a must.  As you would expect, being very organized and able to meet deadlines is important for this role. Juggling several things at once, without losing your professional cool, and maintaining an eye on the fine detail is important.  It goes without saying you are confident with Microsoft including pivot tables, vlookup and sumifs formulas.
