Senior Lifeguard - Hampstead, London

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Senior Lifeguard to join the team at UCS Active. This is a full time role offered at 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to supervise our 25 metre swimming pool by whilst adhering to all Health and Safety rules. The Senior Lifeguard will be responsible for the general maintenance of the pool and will report to the Duty Manager regarding any issues. The Senior Lifeguard will also ensure that sports facilities are prepared on time for all bookings, whilst ensuring a high level of cleanliness is maintained at all times. This position will also be responsible for coordinating the rota for the lifeguards and their training. Additionally this position will be responsible with assisting with plant room operations and purchasing chemicals for the pool when required.

The successful candidate is preferred to have lifeguarding experience from the past 2 years and will have achieved their National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).

The School has improved revenue generation from spare capacity through the auspices of a wholly owned not-for-profit trading subsidiary company, UCS Facilities. Trading activities are overseen by the UCS Enterprise Office which manages the operation of a health and fitness club (“UCS Active”) a new sports/swimming pool complex and on letting any spare capacity in school buildings and facilities for social and business use.
