Maintenance Helpdesk Operator - Wigan Office, Wigan

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Helpdesk Operator to join the team at our Support Centre based in Wigan.  Key tasks to include:

To be fully competent on the Expansive system and computer literate.

To be responsible for the pre-planned and preventative maintenance across the estate.

To be responsible for the ordering process of new equipment, and any parts required for repairs.

To ensure that all job requests are managed and constantly updated with the appropriate professional responses until the job is closed.

To be responsible and liaise with all contractors & suppliers used to ensure that all work is vetted using the correct quote authorisation methods and to ensure that all work is completed on time to the agreed time plans.

To be responsible for vetting all quotes over an agreed amount before gaining authorising.

To assist the maintenance team manager in all ongoing and future cost saving/monitoring projects.

To be responsible for the inputting and checking of all repair invoices received within an appropriate time scale.

Will be expected to share out of hours on call duties, currently one week in four.
