Position Overview

As a graduate joining our Ultimate Leaders Programme at Dorchester Collection we can support your development to become a highly skilled supervisor and assistant manager, ensuring you have the talent to lead and motivate a team to deliver the ultimate guest experience.

Essential Functions & Physical Requirements

• To gain an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the Food & Beverage operation by carrying out the duties of the respective roles
• Work in all Food & Beverage outlets including The Barn, Drawing Room, Restaurant Coworth Park, In Room Dining and Events Operations.
• Take on full Waiter duties within each outlet, learning the Coworth Park specific standards.
• Once fully knowledgeable on the Waiter role, work with the outlet manager to take on extra responsibilities as a senior team member.
• Delivering a memorable experience for all guests by managing and anticipating guest expectations and by providing personalised service specific to the outlet you are in.  
• Be knowledgeable of all the food and beverage products sold in the hotel and therefore be able to maximise sales through effective use of upselling techniques
• Taking on projects and extra responsibilities in line with the Graduate programme

Qualifications and Desirables

• Educated to Hotel diploma or equivalent level
• Previous 5 star restaurant/Food & Beverage service experience would be an advantage
• Passionate about service
• Good knowledge of food and wine
• Excellent level of English language
• Innovative and creative seeking to improve themselves and service for our guests.
