Food and Beverage Manager - Central Scotland

The Wonder World Group are looking to add an experienced, self-starting Food and Beverage Manager to our Senior Management team. Based from our Glasgow Head Office, with regular subsidised travel to all sites.
As Food and Beverage Manager the successful candidate will completely oversee our F&B operations throughout our 10 sites across Central Scotland, leading the Regional Head Chef and team of Chefs, Kitchen Assistants, Baristas and Café staff.
Our purpose-built facilities boast full kitchens and simple but tasty menus, along with a range of hot drinks, confectionery and cakes. We are an innovative bunch at Wonder World and believe that we are the trend setters within our industry. As a result, we continuously look for new products and offerings that we can introduce for all to enjoy.
A brief summary of main duties as F&B Manager below:
· Review and negotiate pricing with our food and beverage suppliers, achieving savings and potentially rebates.
· Constantly review, amend and implement thorough daily operational policies to ensure our kitchens always operate safely and consistently
· Oversee the appropriate scheduling/recruitment of staff in line with peak and off-peak trading to maximise trade and service.
· Line Manage Regional Head Chef and all other staff, guiding, supporting and nurturing a culture of professionalism and recognition.
· Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, safety and service.
· Manage stock levels, wastage and other controllable costs in line with agreed budget.
· Regular unannounced auditing of F&B operations, minimum quarterly per site.
Essential experience:
· Relevant experience in a similar role within an F&B environment
· Experience in managing large, diverse teams remotely
· Strong understanding of COSHH, HACCP and Food Safety is required
· Passion for delivering simple but great quality produce
· Meticulous when it comes to cleanliness
· Must be available to work weekends
40 hours per week, 5 days over 7 including weekends
