Brimstone Hotel is a 16 suite Luxury Hotel offering a personalised service like no other within the Lake District and is located slap bang in the heart of the beautiful Langdale Valley on The Langdale Estate.


The Langdale Estate compromises of 2 Hotels, 100 Self Catering Lodges, Brimstone Spa, Fitness and Leisure, Stove Restaurant and Bar, and Wainwrights Pub. It may sound like a big operation, but it never loses its genuine family feel.


Job Role


As a Brimstone Host along with the Brimstone Team you are responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of the day to day running of the Hotel. The team look after all aspects of the guests needs and do so with a sense of pride. 


The role of Brimstone Host extends beyond when our guests are staying with us by the team reaching out and providing a personalised concierge service before arrival right and seeing it through right up until guest’s departure. 


The team work collectively to ensure that every guest’s needs are catered for by preparing and maintaining all rooms and communal areas for our guest’s, personalising the rooms to guests preferences, ensuring our “Reading room” is presentable and well stocked with complimentary snacks and beverages as well greeting our guests on arrival, and seeing them through their stay from their check in, right through until breakfast prepared in house and delivered by own team of hosts.


The role is varied and would be well suited to those who enjoy a role offering diversity and to those who have perfected the art of multitasking. 

We are looking for individuals who genuinely enjoy looking after others not just for our guests but also our team members and someone who will take care of Brimstone with a sense of pride and ownership. 


A good local knowledge and passion for the Lake District would also be preferable but not essential to be able to ensure our guests really get the most out of their time with us.


The successful applicant doesn’t necessarily have to have a hospitality background- your attention to detail and ability to look after guests will be the solid foundation. Full training will be provided with an opportunity to continue personal development.

 

This is a live out position


Shifts- 8.5 Hours. 

Full Time Position Contract 39 Hours. 

No Split Shifts. Approximately 2 Late Shifts a week.

Hours between 7am until 11pm

Salary- £12.50 per hour
