Kitchen Porter at The Village Pub, GL7 5EE

We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team at The Village Pub, Barnsley.

What we need from a great Kitchen Porter is someone who can work under pressure, deliver efficiently and have the skills to clean until even the chef’s sparkle.

Your role in the kitchen will be to act as the back bone of the operation, providing crucial support to the team and helping to keep all stations clean, tidy and ticking along nicely.

The Village Pub, located in the small Cotswold Village of Barnsley, near Cirencester provides a relaxed atmosphere - serving delicious food and great ales, has open fires and comfy seating. Everything you could wish for and more in a country gastro pub.

As part of the team you will be need to assist the restaurant team with the smooth running of the pub. We want a waiter / waitress to provide an unobtrusive, relaxed service and have a friendly manner. We would like to hear from you if you have had some previous experience working within a similar environment, courteous, well-mannered, possess high working practises, strong interpersonal skills and are ready to go above and beyond in our quest for great hospitality.
