The position of Events Planner has become available at Chesford Grange Hotel. Reporting into the Event & Groups Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing our high value client’s final details by identifying their needs to ensure that we deliver excellent customer service. 

Chesford Grange Hotel is located in the beautiful town of Kenilworth and provides easy access to the whole of Warwickshire. With conference rooms that can cater for up to 1,300 delegates at any one time this is a fast -paced exciting hotel that caters for a range of guests, coming for business or leisure. With modern leisure and spa facilities and relaxed restaurant and bars, this is the perfect hotel for both meetings and a family break. This hotel features 205 spacious bedrooms that are sure to wow any guest. We pride ourselves on investing in our people and delivering outstanding customer service.

What will I do?

  • Manage large value pieces of business
  • Secure re-books for the following years
  • Focus on venue verdict
  • Contribute to bedroom targets
  • Meet the company standard for test calls
  • Complete banquet event orders

Is this the role for me?

  • Previous experience in a similar role would be a distinct advantage, although not essential
  • Ideally, you will have events or sales experience within hotels, exhibitions or stadia, however, we are also open to consider individuals from another sector, as long as you have experience selling ‘a service’
  • Will also consider individuals who have operational meeting & events hotel experience coupled with some sales experience
  • KPI and target driven
  • Ability to multi-task and manage the demands which come with a sales role
  • Able to think outside the box and have ideas on how to maximise opportunities
  • Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude 
  • Excellent attention to detail.
