We currently have an opportunity for a Commercial Buying Assistant to join us here at GAME. You will be supporting the Game Commercial team with buying processes and assisting with the development and management of new ways of working with other departments. As part of a PLC with a 4bl turn over, this opportunity to grow your career in a fast paced and dynamic environment is one for the bold.

• Assisting with product price changes, promotion set ups and competitor checks
• Involved with Market share tracking - pre order and live products
• Setting up online ranges & promotions, as well as digital products
• Coordinating commercial activity events such as Black Friday and E3 to ensure full efficiency
• Reviewing ways of working to ensure the process remains relevant and efficient
• Identifying process issues in the Commercial team and working with stakeholders to suggest improvements
• Simplifying existing tasks and reducing duplication and unnecessary activity across the team
• Driving the completion of commercial actions across the team

• Previous experience of changing and improving processes
• Experience in a commercial buying function ideally in retail
• Able to undertake process investigations and suggest improvements
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills and able to liaise confidently with a wide variety of stakeholders
• Attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Able to prioritise a busy workload whlst tracking progress on a wide range of tasks
• A proactive 'can do' attitude and excellent work ethic
