Receptionist - Stamford Bridge, London

JOB TITLE: Day Receptionist 

DEPARTMENT: Front Office, for Millennium and Copthorne Hotels at Chelsea Football Club 

REPORTING TO: Reception Manager 

JOB FUNCTION: To assist the hotel management team as well as delivering excellent customer service 

LOCATION: Stamford Bridge, Fulham 

CONTRACT: 40 hours per week on a permanent contract 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (Play Your Part): 

  • Being able to provide a professional and timely service with all customers 
  • Using our computer systems to efficiently check a guest in and out and all related stay transactions  
  • Delivering service and operation standards as per the hotels’ Standard Operating Procedures 
  • Ensuring health, safety and safeguarding protocols are adhered to 
  • Sharing property and company information to ensure commercial and operational success 
  • Assisting with fire evacuations 
  • Being familiar, appreciative and wiling to assist night time operations  
  • Enrolling guests confidently into the brand’s loyalty programme 
  • Comply with standards of grooming whilst maintaining excellent standards of personal hygiene

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION: 

Experience: 

Essential 

  • Previous reception experience in at least a 4 star hotel 

Desirable 

  • Opera PMS experience 

The Employee must at all times carry out his/her responsibilities with due regard to Chelsea Football Club policies and procedures in particular Health & Safety, Financial Authorisation, Confidentiality and with regard to the Data Protection Act. The Employee must act to protect all young people and vulnerable adults that are in their care or attending the Company's premises. The Employee must report any misconduct or suspected misconduct to the Safeguarding Lead.
