Shops Duty Manager - Skegness, Lincolnshire
We are looking for an Asst Venue Manager to assist in overseeing the operation of one of our busy shops venues. As a Assistant venue manager you will be required support the Venue Manager to ensure the overall profits, success and smooth running of the venue by maintaining a fantastic memorable guest experience, which will delight our families. You will lead your team to deliver exceptional customer service and bring a refreshing outlook to our retail department.
The purpose of the role:
As a role model, lead and motivate your team to ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times
Have a proactive approach to sales and service, providing on the job coaching to help your team to provide a fast, friendly and efficient standard of service
Effectively implement sales strategies
Set high standards in team performance, leading by example to ensure that every opportunity to up sell is achieved
Effectively manage team rosters
Assisting the manager to ensure control of stock ordering, gross profit, team and rotas
Supporting the department with team selection and recruitment
Adhere to all H&S and Food Safety regulations
We are looking for candidates who:
Has previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a retail shops environment
Creates and environment for creativity and innovation
Previous cash handling experience
Self motivated
Strong communication skills
Committed team player
Have a problem solving attitude
