Location: Bangor Aurora Aquatic and Leisure Complex, 3 Valentine Road, Co-Down, N. Ireland, BT20 4TH
Working hours: Casual, between Monday to Saturday, earliest start 9am, latest finish 7.30pm
Salary: £10.65 to £14.18 per hour

To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Gymnastics Coach to join the centre.
Bangor Aurora Aquatic and Leisure Complex is a £38 m leisure facility which includes the development of Northern Ireland’s first FINA standard 50 metre swimming pool and a £15 m investment from the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure (DCAL) administered by Sport Northern Ireland. The complex offers an excellent choice of sporting and leisure facilities. Employee benefits include career progression and reduced membership of the sporting and leisure facilities.
This is a great opportunity for you to teach the next generation of potential athletes as you will plan, prepare, and deliver Gymnastics sessions aimed at Children 4 to 11 years old. You will maintain accurate administration records for all sessions in line with the facilities processes and procedure, assist in the organisation and promotion of sport and recreational activities and distribute relevant publicity material, undertake further training when required as well as other duties that may be allocated.
You will help in facilitating a safe, fun, and professional working environment with excellent development opportunities and gym membership.
About you
To be considered for this role it is essential that you hold ideally a level 2 coaching qualification in Gymnastics or equivalent, however we will consider level 1 as well and it’s desirable that you hold a first aid, child protection and further coaching qualifications.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, resilient and be able to liaise professionally with customers and our coaching team. You must also be able to have patience and understanding of the needs of the gymnasts and the centre in delivering the programme.
