Roehampton Club is one of the UK’s finest private member Sports clubs, voted Sports Club of the Year 2017-19. An external promotion leaves a vacancy, so Course Manager Peter Bradburn seeks a high achieving Head Greenkeeper to lead the team.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Hands on leader to motivate the team by example
• NVQ level 3 or Foundation Degree in Sports Turf Management
• High operational standards with a task driven approach
• Proven agronomical seasonal planning skills
• A desire to produce the best presented golf course in London
• Chainsaw and spraying certificates
• Strong people management skills

Would be an advantage, but not essential:

• Supervisory experience of leading a multi-disciplined team
• Good budgetary management skills
• Member of BIGGA and/or CMAE
• Ability to deliver course based projects in house
• Working knowledge of machinery and irrigation system maintenance
