Income Auditor​ - Newport

We are looking for an experienced Income Auditor to join our Accounts Team!

You are an individual with excellent levels of numeracy and analytical skills, strong attention to detail and enjoy working under pressure to meet deadlines with experience in a similar role.
To excel in this role, you will also need plenty of drive, be a forward thinker who is self-motivated, adaptable, well organised and a strong team player

As Income Auditor you will fully audit and reconcile the daily revenues and payments throughout the The Celtic Collection by completing the following tasks:
Completion of the income audit to include the following:
Reconciliation of the interface postings between Concept and Opera, correcting any posting errors through Opera
Check all manual postings to ensure correct transaction have been used, amending if necessary
Investigating any refunds/write offs through the system to ensure correct and authorised if appropriate
Ensuring all revenue is captured on the correct days’ business
Closing down the income audit in Opera
Completion of the Daily Revenue Report (DRR) to include the following:
Importing the daily figures from Opera using Vision and/or Mastel 
Collating of daily statistics from Opera, Micros and Concept
Ensuring that all statistics are within the normal range, anything falling outside this then investigated and explained.
Holiday cover for credit card reconciliation
Entering the days payments onto the DRR
Balancing of the Guest, Deposit, Package and AR ledgers
Issuing the DRR daily and timely to all departments
Uploading the revenue, budget and cashbook journals at month end from the DRR
Setting up the spreadsheet each month
Maintaining the spreadsheet with any alterations required as necessary
Reporting any IT issues with Opera, Micros and Concept to the help desk or relevant company and ensuring issues are chased up until rectified.
Setting up of new transaction codes in the PMS/POS systems and the relevant associated housekeeping
Housekeeping of the interfaces to maintain the system
