Senior Wedding & Event Coordinator – Nottinghamshire

Heritage Estates operates two Exclusive use Wedding and Events Venues in Nottinghamshire, Kelham House Country Manor in Newark & Cockliffe Country House in Nottingham.

As we re-establish ourselves with a new management structure and focus on events only, we are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Wedding & Event co-ordinator to work with our existing team.

The role will include…

  • Client meetings and communication via telephone, email & video call when needed.
  • Detailed client proposal with an interest in meeting the guests needs and revenue management, promoting our services positively and representing the business as an advocate.
  • Helping to plan, setup and co-ordinate all weddings & events from initial enquiry to delivering the event to the standard set. This includes helping run the operations of events on the day.
  • Administration and record keeping, financial management of payments schedules for events based on client agreed T&C’s.
  • Assisting in the setup of all functions from room & bar set up, dressing preparation and client management as well as involvement in aspects of service and event delivery.
  • Following all health and safety requirements including current COVID guidelines.

The ideal candidate…

  • Be able to work as part of a small, dynamic team with a focus on customer service and flexible between administrative and operational aspects of the role.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar hospitality environment or applicable experience.
  • Preferably have some bar/F&B experience.
  • Well presented & be an effective communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Have strong computer skills including Office 365 & social media, preferable experience with Guestline & Rezlynx systems.
  • Be able to work some evenings and weekends.
