Leisure Assistant/Lifeguard, Full-Time - Teddington, London

Where you’ll be working

You’ll join our lifeguarding team at Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre, TW11 8EZ

Facilities here include main and learner pools, fitness suite, spin studio, hydrotherapy pool and studio space.

The Centre is open 7 days a week from 6.30am to 10pm.

What you’ll be doing

Providing a professional and friendly approach to pool safety will be your main objective. Making sure that all customers are kept in a safe and secure environment, delivering great customer service and ensuring facilities are clean, safe and staffed, so that every customer has a great experience.

What we’ll need from you

You must be IQL/RLSS National Pool Lifeguard qualified for this role.  A first aid qualification and some experience would also be very desirable. Good communication and organisational skills are essential for this role. 

You’ll also need a good knowledge of Health & Safety and an understanding of Diversity and Equality in employment and provision of a service. 

You'll be expected to work a mix of shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends on a rota basis.

What we can offer you

£20,180 - £23,706pa (salary progression scale)
Starting salary will be £20,180pa subject to qualifications and experience.
