The position:

We are looking for a Commis Chef to join our team at Rivendale Lodge Retreat in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. Fantastic hourly rate of £9.80!

This is a permanent position to work full time hours. This will be 40 hours across 5 variable days which will include weekends and bank holidays.

Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.

Main responsibilities:

The successful Commis Chef will

• Assist with the cleanliness and hygiene of the workplace.
• Adhere to correct portion sizes and effective control of all waste.
• Ensure that all preparation and presentation of food is in line with the company’s high standards.
• Ensure that all stock rotation is accurate and effective.

Requirements:

Previous experience is desired within a similar role. Catering qualifications or Level 3 Food Safety are desirable but not essential.
