We are looking for a Marketing  Manager to focus on our extensive health and wellness brand by creating innovative and impactful marketing campaigns that achieve objectives and generate value for and from our customers. 

We find our customers in all sorts of places and you will be at the forefront of promoting our amazing products via various different channels, ensuring that our tone of voice is funky and consistent across all areas and working towards achieving the marketing strategy. You must be enthusiastic, dedicated, fun and outgoing with a real passion for hospitality. Purpose of the role:

  • Devise and implement marketing campaigns and member communications to support Village Health and Wellness in achieving their commercial objectives.

  • Manage communications with internal and external stakeholders, including hotel and leisure club colleagues and agency partners.

  • Manage the day to day planning of marketing activities for Village Health and Wellness, including activity planner, internal briefing, agency management and departmental budget.   

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Create and own the leisure marketing plan to drive commercial objectives, identifying opportunities to drive leads for the leisure sales team.

  • Create marketing assets and tools to support Village Health and Wellness, including but not exclusively, the development of all sales materials and supporting assets, collateral, event materials, digital marketing activities, email marketing and other revenue driving activities.

  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing agency to plan and deliver online paid digital media (PPC, SEO, display, affiliates).     

  • Support new club openings, developing and delivering a plan in line with lead generation targets. 

  • Drive online lead generation via digital channels and social media, identifying opportunities and establishing relationships with distribution partners that fit the profile of Village Health and Wellness brand.

  • Manage all members communications (email marketing, SMS) 

  • Work with the Brand Manager to ensure consistent tone of voice and brand messaging, that is used to describe our services – bringing the Village Health and Wellness brand to life across all channels.

  • Lead monthly internal briefing sessions. 

  • Main marketing contact for departments across Village Hotel Club (Hotel Marketing, F+B, Legal, Commercial teams, clubs).

  • Undertake general marketing administrative tasks as required.

  • Manage departmental activity calendar and budget, ensuring all activities are delivered on time and within budget

Required Skills/Qualifications 

  • 3 years+ experience in marketing and/or sales in the leisure or hospitality industry preferred but not essential

  • Experience managing a budget and multifaceted campaign calendar

  • Strong  presentational and influencing skills

  • Previous experience in multi-channel environment preferred

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Very good oral and written communication skills

  • Marketing knowledge including first experiences in at least 4 areas of the below:

  • the creation and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns 

  • social media, digital campaigns & media

  • performance driven marketing: analysis, appropriate action, metrics & reporting

  • use of market research & insight

  • working within an integrated sales & marketing function to drive results 

  • agency management

  • developing and delivering Partnership Marketing and exploitation programs

  • Sales Promotions (including 3rd party)
