On joining our agile and highly energised multidisciplinary team you'll have a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience across a range of specialties and levels of complexity.

Supported by our Physiotherapy Manager, Matthew Piff, you'll have autonomy to utilise your acquired expertise and skills to make decisions that will ensure the delivery of excellent patient care. The work is exciting, varied and challenging, the multiple specialities will enable you to develop new skills and grow. We actively support you to be the best you can be in your role while also offering opportunities to progress.

What is involved in the role?

To join our inpatient team covering inpatient care including orthopaedic, gynae and treating a variety of elective pre and post surgical patients.


- You will work within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, AHPS and consultants in order to optimise the health and recovery of our patients.

- Deliver high quality, effective clinical care.

- Adhere to our values and beliefs at Nuffield Health, in which we encourage behaviour which is enterprising, passionate, independent and caring.

- Deliver excellent clinical care that is evidence based, Safe, Effective, Caring, Well-led and responsive to our patient's needs.

- Ensure on-going monitoring of the standard of treatment provided

- Be compliant with all professional, clinical and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processes


Your Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Values

With a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, you'll be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. You will have evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner.

You'll be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals. With a commitment to the use of evidence-based practice, you'll also be able to demonstrate excellent manual therapy skills.

We expect you to be a competent and confident IT user and to be well organised - you'll have the ability to prioritise and deal with your varied workload in an effective and timely manner.
