Casual Housekeeper at Lord Crewe Arms

We have an opportunity to work in our fabulous housekeeping team on a casual basis. You will need to have a great eye for detail with an ability to prioritise and be flexible. It's a fast paced department with tight deadlines but very rewarding and such an important role within the hotel for overall great guest experience. We like our housekeeping team to be friendly and warm with a ready smile when encountering our guests and loving being part of a team is essential!

Shifts will be allocated according to business needs and will include working over weekends and public/bank holidays.

As part of The Calcot Collection, The Lord Crewe Arms is set in the small, remote and very picturesque village of Blanchland high on the Northumbrian Moors in the North Pennines. It is a hotel that is difficult to place into conventional star rated categories. The ground floor has the feeling of a very special and atmospheric pub, serving really good food, in a unique atmosphere. The bar is a place for locals and visitors alike, serving good beer, well-chosen wines and coffee all day. The bedrooms are supremely comfortable with top quality beds, linen and towelling, in a modern country style. Due to location in the countryside of Northumberland, we would advise that having your own car is essential for this role.
