As commis chef you will very much be working as part of the team, assisting with daily prep and ensuring that your section is always clean, organised and ready for service.

You will be supporting senior chefs by preparing ingredients as well as assisting the Head Chef in developing their dishes. It’s a great way to advance your career, allowing you to hone your talent and learn diverse cooking styles and techniques that will grow your repertoire.

Located in Burford one of the much-loved treasures of The Cotswolds, The Bay Tree Hotel is part of the long established Cotswold Inns & Hotels group.

This busy 21 bedroom hotel, including a Bar, Courtyard & Restaurant is popular with the locals and visitors to Burford.

It is a busy, fast paced environment which in addition to the Bar & Restaurant menu also caters for up to approximately 45 weddings a year plus private events of up to 100 people.

Full training will be given on all sections and the opportunity offered to move around within the kitchen.
