The new hospital will consist of:
48 inpatient and day case bedrooms
28 consultation rooms

Full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Admin and Reception Lead to join our brand-new team in London. Operationally responsible for the organisation, management and support of the Reception Team within the inpatient building you will also be the " face " of the department and first point of contact for many of our consultants, patients visitors attending the hospital.
We will expect you to actively contribute to service development, and to help identify opportunities for service improvement during the build phase, in preparation for the hospital to open in 2021. Once the hospital is operational, you will support the Business Administration Manager and Clinical Services Manager to ensure high quality care is delivered to support all departments. This will include general reception duties, enquiry handling, collection of cash payment if required, as well as patient arrival & discharge details & support with follow-up appointments as necessary.
As the building has several floors there will be reception/admin assistants in various key ward areas supporting inpatients, theatres and imaging departments so line management responsibility of the team as well as training and development of new hires is an important aspect of this role.
You will ideally have some experience working in a similar healthcare role, preferably within private healthcare. Along the way, you will build strong relationships with consultants, hospital senior leaders, a wide range of healthcare professionals and, of course, patients. Working collaboratively alongside the clinical management teams, you will ensure patients benefit from the best possible service while supporting efficient and streamlined business processes.
We want you to be the very best that you can be and promise to support and provide you with training, career development and our unique health and wellbeing focused benefits package. This includes free membership of your local Nuffield Health Fitness and Wellbeing Club, an annual health assessment, private medical insurance, as well as a range of lifestyle and financial wellbeing benefits.
