Housekeeping

 

JOB SUMMARY                                                                                                    

 

As a Housekeeper, you will support the Housekeeping Department in delivering excellent customer service to our guests, ensuring a quality hospitality experience.

 

SCOPE / BUSINESS CONTEXT

 

Part Time Position based at the Liverpool Marriott Hotel.

Experience:

 

Previous experience working within a similar environment preferred

Skills and Knowledge

 

Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)

Hygiene procedures

SPECIFIC DUTIES

 

The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:

 

 

 

Prepares bedrooms to the required standard, using cleaning materials and equipment as instructed by the supervisory team

Renew any used guest supplies to the correct level

Ensure that 'Special cleaning' duties are carried out in the correct manner

Report any damaged or missing items or maintenance faults to the Duty Housekeeper as soon as possible

Ensure that trolleys are kept tidy and stocked appropriately at the end of the day and rubbish taken to skip

Remove any lost property left in the room, and give it to the Duty Housekeeper

Report any damaged or missing items or maintenance faults to the duty housekeeper as soon as possible

Clean corridor areas within the section, or complete any other tasks as allocated by the duty housekeeper

Too carry out any additional housekeeping tasks as required e.g. Linen Porter, Deep Cleaning of rooms.
