Introduction to the Swansea Marriott Hotel

The Role Itself and the Duties Involved
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Kitchen Department for a Commis Chef. The role itself is a fixed term contract and you will be expected to work 20 hours a week.
Main Duties Include:
- To work as directed on appropriate section and directed by Chef de Partie.
- To make sure all food is prepared to the correct standard and in conjunction with Food Specs and food Safety.
- To ensure good food quality and correct quantity. To make sure all food items are sent to the correct area on time.
Qualifications and Skills
There are a range of qualifications, skills and characteristics we are looking for to successfully fill this role. These include:
- Previous Commis Chef Experience.
- Good level of English.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, spoken).
- Flexible to work any shift including weekends, bank holidays and nights on occasions.
