The Person

You'll develop and manage activities, teams, box leagues, ladders and find partner schemes. You'll be a warm, approachable role model, capable of inspiring and recruiting excellent colleagues. You'll know how to get the most out of the support of the LTA, to promote competitions, leagues and events.


The opportunity

Full responsibility in leading and operating the Junior and Adult tennis programme of a successful Nuffield Health Club and giving our members a fabulous experience every day, 7 days a week.

 

As our Racquets Manager you will manage the day to day administration of the Tennis Department, ensuring all our customer requests are handled effectively. You will be responsible for ensuring classes and courses are checked and updated on our club systems and manage member feedback. You will also take responsibility for processing monthly invoices and accounts. In addition to this you will undertake duty management shifts to ensure the smooth running of the club.

20h core hours contract, thereafter a class rate of £20 per hour for coaching.

  • Included in the core hours are 15h adults group coaching & 5h admin to do teams etc

  • Growing Junior programme

  • Engage with members at all club activities ensuring we understand what they are looking for and to let them know what we are doing.

  • Ensure all tennis coaches are interacting with and engaging with all non tennis members and encouraging them into tennis activity.
