About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Visual Merchandiser (Space Planning) to join our visual merchandising team, with experience using Space Planning software such as JDA or Spaceman. The successful candidate will closely work with our buying, supply and marketing teams, to support the delivery of our commercial strategy by creating merchandising briefs that land in our stores. Assisting us to maximise space and drive sales by applying learnings seen through data, trends and customer feedback.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to;

  • Ensure that space is maximised and drives sales through analysing data, trends and insight
  • Present your range layout and proposals to cross functional groups
  • Organise and facilitate product live builds to deliver increased sales and profit
  • Create accurate store planograms and communication briefs
  • Apply creative thinking to products of all shapes and sizes to pull them together into a collective display
  • Manage multiple workloads to deliver against the critical path
  • Ensure all projects, range reviews and initiatives land right first time
  • Review and address any issues before they go live in stores
  • Provide accurate and relevant data to identify the best approach
  • Input accurate and timely analysis in to range review documentation
  • Ability to analyse varying levels of data to make ranging decisions
  • Delivery of range planograms for stores – right first time
  • Management of critical paths to deliver activity on time
  • Analyse performance to support range and layout recommendations
  • Improve the efficiencies and visual display for store colleagues and customers

About You

  • Ability to influence and build strong working relationships
  • Strong planning, prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and on overlapping tasks
  • Strong analytical & Excel skills
  • Great attention to detail and clarity of thinking
  • Experience of working with Space Planning software e.g. JDA or Spaceman
  • Good business acumen and commercial thinking
  • Previous experience within an FMCG or retail environment
