Lifeguard - Grafham

• £9.50 per hour 
• Seasonal Zero Hour Contract 

We are back and better than ever, with a beach!   

The new beach will be providing access to the third largest reservoir in England, therefore if you want a change of scenery from indoor swimming pools and want to spend your summer outside, join us as a lifeguard! You will be working on the beach and taking a vigilant approach protecting the lives of our visitors.  

It’s fine if you haven’t achieved your lifeguard qualification yet, we are providing training with the role, so don’t worry we don’t expect you to dive straight in. 

Once training has been completed you will be responding with urgency and efficiency to any swimmers and visitors in distress. Providing first-class service to all visitors whilst observing and supervising them to ensure beach and park rules are observed. As well as making sure our visitors have a great time, we want to ensure that everyone is safe when taking part in the activities.

What does it take to be an Anglian Water Lifeguard?  

• Trained Lifeguards need to have achieved the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and/or Open Water (OWL) Qualification  
• Excellent communication and social skills 
• Excellent customer service skills 
• Strong swimmer  
• Ability to work thought the summer between July – September 2021  

Training 

We are running courses for the Outdoor Water Lifeguard qualification on the following dates, to be eligible to attend you will need to be available for each date of the course and be able to commit to working throughout July and August 2021.  

We are running lifeguard courses on the Saturday 26 June, Sunday 27th June & Monday 28th June 2021 from 9am to 5pm
