The successful applicant will join Property team and play a key role in supporting the maintenance, development and implementation needs of an operational business. This is a remote based role that would ideally suit someone based in the Midlands for easy access to our network of clubs.

Key responsibilities include

• You'll monitor and manage the FWT/PAT, lift servicing, escalator, duct cleans &water testing requirements of the business in coordination with appointed external suppliers consultants and contractor and implement and manage energy saving projects
• Manage/supervise/plan Capital Mechanical, Electrical & Energy saving projects across the Buzz Bingo estate.
• Periodically survey clubs and recommend/implement remedial works to the Building services
• To work with and advise the Projects team to ensure Mechanical & Electrical services are altered, upgraded or installed in line with statutory regulations and compliance
• Produce yearly reports on works required for the estate from Planned Maintenance and a yearly review of the portfolio estate condition of all Mechanical & Electrical Building Services.
• To work with the Nominated Energy provider to manage M&E upgrade works to reduce the business consumption on utilities in line with targets.
• Maintain a detailed working knowledge of current electrical/mechanical/water safety legislation and attend training courses as appropriate.
• Support the Property & Procurement team in tendering reactive M&E maintenance contractors to ensure best value whilst supporting the trading business day to day.
• Maintain and update the schedule of equipment in clubs recommending replacements as required by condition or age and availability of replacement parts.

Your skills & experience

• Recognised building services qualification to degree level or similar.
• Post qualification experience to include retail, corporate, local authority or consultancy.
• Broad range of exposure to client operational issues and financial appraisals.
• PC literate.
• Cost/financial/budget management skills.
• Excellent decision making, communication and organisational/time management skills essential.
• Flexibility in terms of working hours and travel.
• Recognised asbestos qualification/competency.
  Working knowledge of HVAC regulations, Electrical Service regulations, Mechanical services legislation for lifts and escalators and ACOP for water safety testing and compliance.
• Retail based portfolio management experience.
• Previous leisure maintenance experience.
