General Manager - Gaucho Leeds

Gaucho are looking for an experienced and passionate General Manager to join one of our London Restaurants. The successful candidate will be an experienced restaurant operator, being fully accountable for guest experience, finance, sales growth, legal compliance and team development. The General Manager will work closely with the Operations Director on projects and will take full ownership of them. They will be an ambassador for the business, leading by example and driving the business.


Key Responsibilities
• Managing financials by plans to drive sales and beat budgets
• Yearly budget planning and maximising covers whilst protecting the guest experience
• Fully accountable for full team objectives, development and succession planning
• Effectively management of rotas, employee relation issues and recruitment
• Practices an open-door policy with the team and makes time to ensure employee welfare
• Drives the Gaucho culture and manages both the team and senior members
• Ensuring compliance throughout the business, with the team being fully trained to the correct level, and personally being trained to the correct level.
• 95% and above on food audits and shield health and safety.
• A focus on the guest feedback from revinate and mystery diner 
• Leading local marketing initiatives

Requirements
• An in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry
• Strong experience managing a successful service led restaurant operation
• Proven experience of results through great people management 
• Excellent communicator, and aspirational leader
• WSET Level 2, personal license & food safety
