Part time Night Team Member - Ibis Styles Heathrow East

You have a professional and friendly personality, be confident, organised and maintain a hands-on approach and be able to keep calm under pressure. You must have exceptional attention to detail and passion for hospitality in order to deliver exceptional guest service.

You will make sure that guests have a pleasant and enjoyable stay at the hotel.

Responsible for all aspects of hotel operations overnight, from arrivals to guest departure, acting as duty manager at night. Maximising hotel occupancy by efficiently managing arrivals and bookings.

About us:

Ibis Styles Heathrow East is looking for a Night Team Member. This is an excellent opportunity to develop and grow professionally.

Position Purpose

Responsible for all aspects of hotel operations overnight, from arrivals to guest departure, acting as duty manager at night. Maximising hotel occupancy by efficiently managing arrivals and bookings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides a warm and personal welcome for all guests who arrive at night.
  • Contributes to guest satisfaction by providing a high standard of service from arrival to departure, ensuring all guest revenues are charged for and by increasing hotel revenue through maximising hotel occupancy.
  • Ensure high levels of breakfast setup in line with Ibis Styles standards.
  • Basic meal production, with Food Safety and Hygiene practises followed
  • Maintaining of buffets and clearing/sanitising of tables in restaurant area  
  • To ensure all Front of House public areas are cleaned, creating a professional impression to customers and employees.
  • To maintain the reception, food and beverage outlets, public areas, stores, back office and staff areas in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Deal with any guest queries/complaints in a polite and friendly manner ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Ensures night audit and all necessary checks are completed as well as providing a safe environment for employees and guests.
  • Adopts appropriate Ibis Styles service-oriented behaviours and attitudes, focusing on the brand's values: Modernity, Simplicity, Well-being "Provide Guests with excellent service.
  • To take responsibility for the security of the hotel at night following hotel and company security procedures at all times.


Person Specification

  1. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Preferred - 

  • Friendly and welcoming approach
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including a pleasant telephone manner
  • Ability to remain calm during difficult situations or in a very busy environment
  • IT literacy - intermediate user knowledge of Microsoft Office (including outlook) and experience using internet portals.
  • Experience using a Property Management System.
  • Have a good command of written and spoken English
  • Be eligible to work in the UK on full time and rota basis
  1. Proven Experience/Education Level
  • Previous customer service experience in hospitality industry is preferable.
