Operations Manager - London
Youngstars Ltd is an established, dynamic and fast growing company working throughout Central and South London. Youngstars offers a range of services in School and Nursery settings, those services include Holiday Camps, Wraparound Care, Sports Clubs and Activity sessions.
To deliver these services we have a dedicated team of Sports Coaches, Teachers and Childcare professionals. We demand from our team that they are dynamic, enthusiastic and dedicated to the role of inspiring all our children, whilst keeping them safe and secure under our care.
The Head of this team is the Operations Manager, who handles all of the day to day logistics during Term Time and the Holidays. The organisation, professionalism and drive which is expected from the team derives from the Operations Manager, who sets the tone for the rest of the team.
The role is well supported with full time administrative back up from the Office Manager who will ensure compliance of the team in all aspects and is the first point of contact for the Company, whether by phone or email. The Operations Manager will be the point of contact for our School and settings with regards to session delivery. The Operations Manager also has full access to the two founders and Directors of the company.
There will be an overlap with the existing Operations Manager during August 2021, to ensure a full and thorough hand over of all roles and responsibilities.
Youngstars works extensively in the School and Nursery system and our services include:

In this role, industry knowledge and experience is essential, all candidates must have relevant experience managing teams and experience liaising with Schools and other organisations. Other qualities that are essential include:
- Excellent phone manner
- Impeccable timing
- High level organisation skills
- High level computer literacy
- High level of common sense and initiative
The Key Responsibilities of this role will include:
- The term time staff rota of all Youngstars activities
- The holiday camp staff rota
- Main and initial contact for the entire Youngstars team
- Knowledge and regular use of our booking system after initial in house training
- Team management, including in house training
- Youngstars session content and service delivery
This role reports to the Directors and is effectively in charge of the frontline of the business, it is therefore not just integral to the smooth running of the business, it is vital to support and maintain our existing arrangements but also ensure that we are able to grow and develop new opportunities. Therefore, The Director’s hold this role with particular significance and will be reflected in the potential for development within the business, including annual reviews on pay and overall package based on agreed KPI’s.
