The Basingstoke Country Hotel is a 121 bedroom-hotel that has ten conference suites in total, ranging in size from smaller rooms seating up to 30 guests, ideal for meetings, to larger suites seating up to 240 people.

The Hotel offers a Spindles Health and Leisure Club that provides beauty treatments and pamper packages as well as Gym Memberships and access to the swimming pool. Due to continued expansion we are looking to recruit a Leisure Club Supervisor onto the team.

As Leisure Club Supervisor, you will be required to;

  • Maintain regular communication with the Leisure Club Manager to ensure the overall upkeep and cleanliness of the club. 
  • Assist the Leisure Club Manager to do a complete operational audit and walk through of the facility at least once a day and be completely up to date with all operational issues.
  • Handle any member complaints before they escalate in an order to maintain member satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintain an accurate current and potential client base for purpose of communicating future offers and facilities.
  • Ensure product knowledge on hotel products and services is up-to-date at all time.
  • Ensure all opportunities are taken to promote products to customers and to increase the membership base.
  • This list is not exhaustive, you may be asked to do other duties as and when required.

You will need to hold a valid Pool Responder Certificate and Pool Plant Operator Certificate (or equivalent). Applicants must be hard working, friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic, reliable, also preferably qualified to gym instructor level 2 and first aid trained but not essential.
