Job Purpose (overview of the role)

Our Own Label team is looking for a dedicated and reliable Supply Chain Assistant to support our Supply Chain Manager in day-to-day, end-to-end supply chain operations. You will be involved in a variety of key areas such as supply management, customer service, stock management, reporting and ort Documentation Management & Administration.

Job Role (day to day tasks)

-    Process daily sales orders for UK and Export customers

-    Process sales invoices for UK and Export customers

-    Prepare mid-week sales forecast and weekly sales report

-    Prepare purchase orders for suppliers

-    Help deal with inquiries from customers and maintain good customer relationships by delivering a high-level of customer service

-    Resolves shipping and receiving issues directly with the customer or carriers

-    Liaise and coordinate with internal members in buying, marketing and store teams

-    Prepare quarterly stock take documents for warehouse stock management

-    Maintain purchase order log and packaging document when stock is received

-    Process goods in reports from warehouse

-    Weekly aged debtor chasing for UK and export customers

-    Help to prepare Export documentation including certificates of inspections for Soil Association compliance 

-    Provide routine and ad hoc information to the management team to support operational decision-making

Key Requirements

-    Experience in using Exact Online UK preferred    

-    Able to provide high levels of customer services to maintain strong internal and external relationships

-    Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills

-    Detail orientated 

-    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

-    Ability to adapt to changing customer and supplier requirements (Brexit, etc)

-    Good understanding of basic inventory planning concepts: weeks on hand/weeks of supply, lead time, etc.

-    Strong analytical skills and experience in Microsoft Excel

-    Strong problem-solving skills

-    Ability to thrive and maintain a positive, solution-oriented attitude in a fast paced and rapid growing environment

-    Ability to own multiple priorities and be adaptive to shifting priorities

-    Proactive, resourceful and self-motivated, with excellent attention to detail
