Front of House Porter

Front of House Porter – Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa, Nantwich

 Do you love interacting with people on a daily basis? 

We have an opportunity for a Full Time Front of House Porter to join our team, working alongside the reception team to give all of our guests a warm welcome, help them settle in by showing them around the Hotel and to assist them with their luggage.

As the Front of House Porter you will be the first person our guests meet when they arrive in the car park which means you’ll get to make one of the biggest impressions. You will need to have excellent standards of presentation and a natural and friendly approach.

It doesn’t matter if they’re first time visitors or returning guests, you’ll charm them from the initial welcome to the "Have a safe journey” with your impeccable standards of service.

This is a full time role that involves working both early and late shifts between the hours of 7am and 11pm five days per week to include weekends on a rota basis.

About you:

• You’ll be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts and days to include weekends on a rota basis
• You’ll enjoy making guests feel welcome and at home, and will develop a thorough knowledge of our of hotel products and services
• You’ll ideally have previous experience working in hotels or hospitality but this is not essential
• You’ll be excellent at building a rapport with new and returning guests
• You’ll take pride in your appearance, as the face of Hand Picked Hotels
• Most of all, you’ll have a friendly, welcoming and genuine manner
