Do you have a background in retail change and interested in working on the largest retail transformation project in the world?

 

Please note that you will be required to work out of our head office in Leeds around 2-3 days a week (once government advice changes).

 

The Future programme will drive change across the whole organisation where we'll touch every single one of our 140,000 colleagues over the next three years. To drive this programme we're building a Change Management function from scratch who will be accountable for assessing the level of change, types of change and developing functional implementation plans to prepare the business for the activity we will be landing. We are recruiting for a number of change management roles to partner with different business areas such as eCommerce, Finance, Commercial, People, Technology and Retail. Experience in working on large scale, complex transformation programmes is essential.

 

Your Role

  • Lead the assessment of the systems, people, process, non-tech and project impacts for the relevant functions.
  • Work closely with the corporate strategy team to understand the impacts upon the established strategic priorities in the function/s
  • Convert impacts into an action plan which is relevant for their area
  • Develop and present action plans and interventions to the VP leads for their function/s as well as the leadership of the tower in order to gain buy-in, stress test the approach and take builds
  • Work closely with busines SMEs to translate action plans and impact plans into relevant communication material suitable for the audience
  • Feed into the training team any training needs required and partner with the training team on the training and implementation strategy
  • Able to run change upskilling sessions and manage a large group of SMEs as they move into implementation phase
  • Be 'on the ground' during implementation pivoting the change, training and comms approach as required
  • Beyond implementation, monitor the adoption of new behaviours and ways of working to make sure they are embedded into functions
  • Create and implement resistance management plan
  • Create and integrate change management project tasks into overall project plan

 

About You

  • Retail Change Management background essential.
  • Strong stakeholder management background
  • A deep understanding of change methodology, why it matters and how to influence change
  • PROSCI or similar change training would be advantageous along with Agile experience (desirable and not essential)
