The Grand Scarborough boasts 413 classically-styled bedrooms and we are looking to recruit a Room Checker onto the team.

As Room Checker, you will be required to;

  • Collect keys and work paper, ensuring all keys are signed for.
  • Check allocated bedrooms by Head or Assistant Housekeeper.
  • Communicate clean and checked bedrooms to reception.
  • Record and perform corrective action if not correct standard with relevant room attendant, log with Head Housekeeper.
  • Achieve the highest standards to meet our guest’s expectations.
  • Log all Maintenance jobs on Opera (Property Management System) found during room checking process.
  • Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as may be required.

The successful candidate will be organized, punctual and efficient. You will also have excellent attention to detail and can effectively meet deadlines whilst maintaining high quality service.
