The Conference and Banqueting Operations Manager role:
The Conference and Banqueting Operations Manager is to control and manage the smooth and efficient running of the Conference & Banqueting Department, maintaining maximum quality standards and ensuring total guest satisfaction. This position demands the ability to oversee a wide variety of different events including weddings, private dinners, conferences and parties in locations across the whole of the estate. Control of wage cost and managing profitability through effective sales and efficient stock control are key elements of the position.
The Conference and Banqueting Operations Manager will:
- Demonstrate a successful career in Operational Events Management, preferably in the luxury hotel market.
- Must be calm under pressure, have excellent communication & organisational skills
- Demonstrate attention to detail.
- Have excellent people management skills- the ability to train, develop, motivate and recruit a team of staff.
