The Opportunity

We are looking for a pro-active, self motivated individual to carry out minor repairs and decoration to allow key operational areas to continue with their service.

As our Facilities Assistant you will:

• Work to an agreed schedule of decorating and repairs (internal and external), carrying out work to a high standard

• Happy with painting and decorating.

• Good with DIY.

• Basic plumbing knowledge would be an advantage.

• Happy with basic Building Fabrics work.

• Minor Repairs.

• Basic Landscaping.

• Support the onsite engineers with Ad Hoc duties.

• Clean and prepare the areas for which you are responsible following the required policies and procedures, e.g. health and safety, infection prevention and control etc.

• Complete any paperwork required, correctly and on time.

• Report any problems with your work area or any equipment in a timely manner to the Senior Management team.

• Understanding of IT would be an advantage but not essential.

The Person

To succeed as a Facilities Assistant you will;

• Require experience of painting, decorating, and general D.I.Y.

• Be flexible to allow for duties to be carried out over weekends and evenings when required.

• Desirably have experience of working in a customer facing environment an advantage.
