Chef de Rang
We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Chef de Rang to join the team at Scott’s, part of Caprice Holdings.
Scott’s is an award winning seafood restaurant serving the very finest traditional fish and seafood dishes as well as seasonal game and meat dishes. The restaurant has an elegant oyster and Champagne bar in the centre which creates a sophisticated dining environment matched with engaging service from our attentive and informed restaurant staff.
As Chef de Rang you will be responsible for liaising with the floor staff and senior chefs within the restaurant to ensure the smooth running of each service. You will supervise the floor staff to ensure all tasks are completed to the high standards expected within a timely manner.
We are ideally looking for a Chef de Rang who:
Has previous experience in a similar Chef de Rang role in a high quality and busy destination restaurant or private members’ club.
Has previous experience leading and supervising a large team and ensuring the standards are in line with the restaurant operating procedures.
Has a good understanding of all areas within a restaurant.
Has experience of completing closing down procedures at the end of shift.
Is an excellent team player with a positive, flexible and enthusiastic attitude.
Has experience of EPOS systems.
Possess a good command of the English language.
Is passionate about food and keen to develop their knowledge on the menu, wine and cocktail lists.
Has a WSET qualification is desirable but not essential.
