Receptionist - Luton

Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa has an exciting opportunity available for a
Receptionist. 36 hours per week, the salary is in the region of £16,000-£17,000 plus service charge.

Receptionist Overview:
Our aim is to create distinctly memorable experiences and so we strive to make every stay an occasion for our guests. As Receptionist you will be part of the Front of House team and will play a vital part in ensuring that guests receive the warmest five star welcome and that they feel looked after from arrival to departure. Working as part of a small team you will be professional, courteous and welcoming. As Receptionist you will be responsible for the arrival and departure of each guest and must ensure prior to arrival that all arrangements have been completed. The Receptionist role will involve cash handling and credit card transactions as well as taking reservations and answering guest queries face-to-face and by telephone.

Previous experience in the hotel and catering industry is desirable; however substantial training will be given. We are looking for someone who is an enthusiastic and motivated team-player with a friendly, polite and professional personality. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and to develop their skills. Experience in a customer service environment and the confidence to deal with challenging situations would be preferable.

Due to our rural location you will need your own transport.
