Haulfryn family is looking for a Chef de Partie to join a growing team at our friendly holiday resort, The Warren, Abersoch.

The resort hosts over 500 exclusive use holiday homes. We have 3 restaurant outlets, food van and kiosk offerings, a supermarket, spa and fully equipped leisure area. The Warren is located on the North Wales riviera with a unique climate and within walking distance of the affluent village of Abersoch on the Llyn Peninsula. A passionate and professional individual is required to create delicious food offerings in all outlets at our prestigious and exclusive beach front Holiday Park. The Warren is our flagship park with owners who expect nothing but the best and we are looking for you.

What You Will Do

  • In charge of a particular section within our kitchen, however you will also be rotated around the kitchen to utilise their skills and to support all sections
  • Responsible for the preparation and cooking of the food required from our menu's and to assist in the operation of our regular events, conferences and owners supper clubs
  • Assist the sous and head chef in creating new specials dishes and core menu items throughout the year
  • Be aware of profit margins and keeping waste to a minimum
  • Responsible for other tasks and duties that are necessary for the smooth running of the kitchen
  • Help them to learn and develop their skills on each section

What You Will Bring

  • Any of the below
    • 14-19 Hospitality & Catering diploma
    • City & Guilds diplomas in professional cookery
    • A foundation degree in culinary arts
    • BTEC HND in professional cookery
    • or equivalent
  • Any health and safety and food hygiene courses
  • Great cooking skills
  • An ability to delegate appropriately
  • Organisational flair
  • A grasp of profit margins
