Assistant to the Financial Controller - Luton

Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa have an exciting opportunity available for a
Assistant to the Financial Controller.


40 hours per week, the salary is in the region of £25,000-£30,000 per annum plus service charge*.


Assistant to the Financial Controller:
You will support and assist the Financial Controller to ensure effective and efficient operation of the hotel accounts department. Developing relationships with Heads of Department across the hotel estate you will be able to build rapport with a diverse range of people and encourage cooperation. You will also be comfortable explaining financial analysis to the operational management team and those without a financial or accounts background. Key Skills and Experience:

  • Exposure to hands on Ledgers, Payroll and reconciliation of daily banking
  • Previous supervisory experience, able to manage a small team
  • Self starter with an enthusiasm for hospitality.
  • Ideally some experience of P&L preparation and participation in month end accounts.
  • Able to work with varying priorities and manage their own workload as well as that of the wider team
