Marketing Manager – London

We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about marketing, digital channels, and food (not just Thai food but any food). Your role will be to inspire, educate, and engage our audiences and grow Rosa’s Thai brand with a focus on using digital channels (web, search, social media, emails) to drive campaigns, promotions and events. All while learning about and eating amazing Thai food!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with Head of Brand & Marketing to develop and deliver Rosa’s brand strategy (and digital strategy) with a key focus on content creation and design
  • Be the gate keeper of the brand guidelines and ensure all material is of a high standard and specification (internal and external channels)
  • Lead local marketing activities including seek out new opportunities, work with local restaurant managers, produce local restaurant marketing collateral & creation of all digital content internally and externally (BID, shopping centers, agencies etc)
  • Work directly with our founder, Saiphin, to produce recipe content, cooking videos, corporate cook-along, ghostwrite Q&A, and any ad hoc PR & marketing events 
  • Create considered and integrated campaign content for all channels (online, print POS and beyond)
  • Create POS and marketing materials that are engaging and effective in driving footfall and sales
  • Create effective guidelines / specifications & design relevant POS to support the landing of all marketing campaigns (for example: menus, recipe cards, brief documents, presentations etc)
  • Ensure a good record of all POS materials, manage printing & distribution to restaurants on time 
  • Write photography briefs and manage photoshoots / videoshoots for new launches and campaigns
  • Support the running of external and internal events to support campaign objectives (press & blogger activities, and all outdoor activations – new restaurant openings, food festivals, product sampling etc)
  • Work closely with our PR agency and oversee digital campaigns around new restaurant opening and activities throughout the year
  • Manage the day-to-day running of our key social media sites (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Tripadvisor), website, and search listings and campaigns (Google Reviews, My Business / Adwords / Analytics)
  • Create & schedule content for all digital channels including social media, website, email newsletters, and Google Ads & SEO
  • Create targeted email campaigns with the aim to build our database and drive repeat visits through segmentation and relevant content
  • Be the first point of contact between Rosa's and our guests, be able to confidently answer any queries about the brand, our products and services
  • Manage customer enquiries and feedback, and follow up with Operations team, in line with Rosa’s best practices and tone of voice across a range of channels and moderate all user generated content
  • Work closely with the Food team on product development, menu design & copy, food styling & photography
  • Work closely with the People team on monthly team newsletter (content gathering/copy), and any ad hoc internal / external comms
  • Manage ad hoc administrative activities such as monthly reporting, campaign performance summary, managing budgets, creating briefs and setting KPIs
  • Execute ongoing reporting on the status of our channels and website performance and propose new ideas, insights and measure ROI for each quarter; including market and competitor trends

KEY OBJECTIVES

  • Help build Rosa’s brand and create a distinctive personality from other casual dining brands (not just Thai)
  • Create fun and engaging content, and deliver campaigns that drive traffic to our restaurants & online channels (increase conversion / repeat visits)
  • Create fun and engaging content, and deliver campaigns to a wider/new audience (increase brand awareness / reach / consideration)
  • Be the gate keeper of our brand reputation & build positive consumer relationships (customer service/NPS), and build rapport amongst our super fans

We’re looking for a Kindhearted, Hardworking, Food Lover…

  • Ideally have a degree in marketing and/or communications and/or design
  • Preferably 3+ years relevant industry experience
  • Excellent communications and creative writing skills
  • Love to share their passion for food (and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry), and show keen interest in and willingness to learn about Thai food and culture
  • Have a determination to grow and learn new things.
  • Be willing to learn from the teams and share knowledge. Bring new initiatives, a positive mindset, new ways of working within and across departments, and with staff of all levels in the company
  • Happy to go above and beyond. Sometimes you have to work fast, under a tight deadline, but still ensure the jobs are done right to every last detail (Don’t worry it’s not as scary as it sounds)
  • Be commercially minded and must know the basics for creating actionable POS 
  • Ability to analyse data, prepare proposals & present key insights to senior managers
  • Have experiences in executing social media activity and email campaigns
  • Have an understanding or experience of how digital channels can be used as an acquisition/retention channel through segmentation and paid advertising
  • Demonstrate strong creative and project management skills with knowledge in using the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop & InDesign) & Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Experience using WordPress would be a plus.
