Training Manager – Service & Standards - London

  • Salary: £30 - 35k

The East London Pub Co is EXPANDING and rapidly with another 2 sites opening this year. Our aim is to always provide 5* star service and the highest of standards regardless whether it is pouring a pint or hosting a large corporate event.

This role is not for the quiet or fainthearted – confidence and knowledge is KEY!

Key responsibilities & duties for the Training Manager

  • Be responsible and accountable for all front of house service training.
  • Develop and deliver front of house service training workshops.
  • Develop and grow all steps of service – Bar & Floor.
  • Oversee all E-Learning (FLOW)
  • Ensure all teams members are fully up to date on compliance.
  • Conduct work shops inline with our inhouse people platform.
  • Visit sites day and night to assess all service standards.
  • Work with HR Manager on implementing ways of working, our company bible & our in-house people platform.
  • Be responsible for all reviews including Trip advisor, google & Design my night

Skills, experience & attributes

  • Dynamic, imaginative & unleashes creative energy.
  • Education and knowledge in wine – WSET level 2 or more
  • Knowledge in beer
  • Great knowledge in cocktails and Spirits
  • Must have previous experience within a training role
  • Proven experience in training techniques and presentation
  • Pure passion for the hospitality experience
  • Confidence & determination to train to the highest of standards
  • Loves the pub, people and plonk.
