The opportunity

This role is essential in supporting the smooth running of the department.
As our assistant you will:

• Support with day to day tasks required in an inpatient Physiotherapy team such as; mobilising patients, delivering exercise programs and assisting in delivering physiotherapy treatment sessions.

• Support clients in booking/altering appointments

• Organising relevant paperwork for teams

• Ordering and organising stock as required

The person

To succeed as a Physio Assistant, you will need:

• To be computer literate and able to work in a variety of systems including PIMS, TM2, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.

• To have skills in customer service and a good telephone manner.

• To be organised, adaptable and flexible to suit the needs of the department

• The correct clinical skill set or experience to work on a busy ward

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

Key information about the role.

The role is a bank work working Saturday and Sundays as required. There may also be the flexibility to work midweeks and additional days may be required/available to cover annual leave also.
