What will the role involve? As a Lifeguard you will;

• Make sure our members stay safe and healthy when using our brilliant 'wet' facilities - from the swimming pool, to the spa pool, sauna and steam room.
• Do all that you can to create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment. As a Lifeguard you'll see that everyone, who uses the Club, enjoys a warm welcome and efficient service.
• Be attentive and alert at all times. You will make connections with members, helping them to feel valued and supported. Of course, if there is ever an incident, you will respond straight away.

What are we looking for in our Lifeguards?

• A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
• For you to be a strong swimmer.
• Enthusiasm, a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Experience can be gained, but attitudes and behaviours can't be taught.
• A real passion for providing great customer care. You will be a real team player.

About our gym;

Nuffield Health & racquets club Oxford is a beautiful private members Club with 4 indoor tennis courts, a large gym, a class studio and a spin studio offering members a large variety of classes per week. There are also 2 health mot rooms. It has great wet side facilities with a 25m pool and sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi, as well as an 20m outdoor pool area. There is a café area which is central to the members as a meeting place, as well as our beauty department to cater for all our member's needs. In addition, it houses excellent clinical facilities with 2 physiotherapy rooms. The Club has c3,600 members and a great team of staff and is widely regarded as one of Nuffield Health's flagship Health clubs.

Salary - up to £18,200 (pro-rata)
