Duty Manager - Kirklees Council

The role will involve working flexible hours to fit with the needs of the business, including evenings and weekends.

As the Duty Manager you will be working on shift offering the highest level of service, dealing professionally with complaints or queries.

You will oversee the room set ups, assist with maintenance, record and resolve incidents, liaise with hirers, lead events such as weddings and conferences, take responsibility for evacuations and have knowledge of bar processes. You will also identify risks, manage resources and take appropriate health and safety measures.

You will need:

• A flexible approach to work

• Knowledge of Health and Safety

• Knowledge of Fire Safety

• Ability to assist disabled customers

• Experience of supervising staff

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
