Head Kitchen Steward - Luton

Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa have an exciting opportunity available for a
Head Kitchen Steward.


40 hours per week, £9.13/hour plus £1,400 service charge per year

The Head Kitchen Steward role:
As Head Kitchen Steward you will play a key role in the kitchen team and will assist in the management and storage of food deliveries. You will support the Executive Chef and Head Chefs in overseeing the team of kitchen porters assuring the highest standards of cleanliness and food hygiene. You will also be responsible for supporting with stock control and distribution of crockery and equipment as well as cleaning products across the kitchen locations on our 1,065 acre estate. This is an interesting and varied role working within a luxury hospitality environment.

The Head Kitchen Steward will:

  • Have enthusiasm, dedication and a positive 'can do' attitude'
  • Show attention to detail and consistency
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team
  • Possess good time management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Have previous experience in a similar role and experience of working in a kitchen environment

Due to our rural location you will need your own transport.
