Oakman Inns are looking for an energetic, people-focused Customer Engagement Officer to join our centralised sales and reservation team as key support in delivering the customer service journey throughout our estate of over 35 beautiful casual dining pubs.

Our Customer Engagement Team are the first point of contact for our guests to book a table, hotel room or large-scale functions and weddings, with your focus being to ensure every customer has their perfect experience from start to finish.

The team are pivotal in offering our guests the first taste of our warm, professional and friendly service. The team are also responsible for outbound calls, digital marketing platforms, marketing activity and central support activity.

In this role you will be shifting focus between tasks to provide support to the business in all areas required, through inbound and outbound sales activity projects that require 100% attention to detail and focus and to support our front of house teams. We are looking for people with hospitality and sales experience but most importantly, a ‘can-do’ attitude and a willingness to learn. The ability to be well organised, enthusiastic and enjoy in engaging with a wide range of customers is a must.

As in all hospitality positions there is an element of shift and weekend work and therefore flexibility is required, however, the latest finish time is 9pm and we believe in work-life balance, so you won’t be working each and every weekend.
