Introduction to the site and role:
Empty since 2012, The Crown Hotel in Boston Spa is being resurrected under the new ownership of Northern pub company 'Further Afield LTD'.
We are recruiting for a number of Sous Chefs & Chef De Partie's for this new flagship site. The ideal candidates will have a high level of skill working on various sections in the kitchen and will have the ability and confidence to work alongside the Head and Sous chef to take things to the next level. We want real team leaders who have a passion for great food and are keen to learn and progress within the role.
We work with some of the best UK famers and local suppliers, so a passion for working with fresh seasonal ingredients is a must. With the group expanding all the time there will be scope to move up the career ladder quickly for the right candidate.
A bit about you:
-Have experience working in a busy kitchen producing fresh food to a very high standard.
-Someone with a desire to progress and work within a tight team of chefs.
-Be a team player who enjoys working in a busy environment with other chefs and front of house team.

Job Duties:
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
- Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
